About Me:
I am a 20 year old computer science student at the University of Waterloo in Ontario. I\'ve been playing online games seriously for about the past 8 years, having been through games such as Diablo II, Starcraft, Guild Wars, Fury, and of course World of Warcraft. In these games I\'ve always been interested in both serious PvE and PvP; I try to find a balance between the two. I have a great computer, a solid connection, and a very good headset which I am not afraid to make use of on ventrilo. I do a lot of theorycrafting and mathematical min-maxing for my gear (helps to be in a faculty of mathematics).

WoW History:
I\'ve been raiding since about a year after WoW originally released, and have been through a fair amount of guilds and servers in the process. I started with a warlock on Magtheridon with a casual raiding guild, and then rerolled an alliance hunter for a pre-made guild on the Gul\'dan Server. After various guilds falling apart and a couple server transfers to meet up with IRL friends, I decided that I wanted to try something different. I moved to Blackrock about a month before expansion to get a character ready, and then rolled my DK on expansion release.

WoW Classic - Everything pre-naxx; everything but 4H, sapph, and KT in naxx
TBC - Everything, including everything except KJ killed in sunwell pre-3.0 (attendance issues stopped us)
Wotlk - All non-challenge content; 25m sarth w/ one drake down, attempts w/ three drakes

About my DK:
I\'ve been playing my DK as DPS, but would not terribly mind changing to tanking, assuming you guys\'d be willing to take me as DPS until I got the gear to tank. I also have not yet done much research on DK tanking, I would use EJ and other resources to do this research if given a trial as a tank. Right now I am geared as unholy DPS. My gear is a bit behind on gems and enchants due to monetary issues and the holidays; 3.0.8 will make it much easier to gem. Most of my gear is close to best-in-slot, my pieces which are behind are mainly just my rings. I have my KT axe already. For tanking gear, I have 3p T7, chest, bracers, belt, and a 1H sword, along with assorted blues and greens from leveling. I would prefer to stay as DPS, but if there are no DPS spots open for raiding, I would be fine tanking. My unholy DPS spec:
Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft. I am also familiar with the 0/32/39 dual-wield hybrid spec.

Why I\'m Applying:
Because I\'m looking for a guild that can be relied upon to progress, stay together, and just have some fun. I\'m tired of dealing with only 10 decent players in a raid, and waiting hours for officers to sign on after raid time starts. I want to find a real home for myself where I won\'t have to move from in 8 months because the guild has fallen apart.

What I Have to Offer:
I\'ve got the reliability, talent, and determination to be an integral part of a raiding group. Just since I\'ve started raiding in wotlk, raiding between 3 and 6 days a week, I\'ve never missed a raid, or even missed initial invite time. When things do come up which might cause me to miss or be late for a raid, I let the appropriate people know ahead of time so it\'s not a surprise when invites go out. I learn quickly and do my job very well - if I make a mistake, then I figure out what I need to do to fix it and it doesn\'t happen again. Both on my old hunter and now on my DK I am always at or near the top of the DPS meters. I\'m also never the guy that everyone else is getting annoyed with because they\'re doing stupid things or constantly taking 3 minute afks. Now that I\'ve recovered from the monetary strain of lvling a DK and getting flying and two professions without, I always have consumables ready for raids, and my gear enchants/gemming will catch up and be kept up to date very soon as well. To get an idea of my DPS, the last patchwerk 25m I did (since then I\'ve upgraded several pieces of equipment including going from Colossal Skull-Clad Cleaver to Betrayer of Humanity), I did 4700 DPS as my Unholy DPS spec.
