Every single pvp-related currency is going to be reset when Wrath launches. Arena points, honor, tokens, all of it.

Blue posts concerning the reset. The marks confirmation is in the post by Zarhym, about 2/3 down the page.

I actually cannot confirm that the arena points will be resetting, but I can't imagine them resetting honor points and tokens and then not resetting arena points.

We had hoped that the introduction of some new Honor rewards in the upcoming patch would give players a great opportunity to spend any of their remaining Honor. However, many players would still be surprised by an Honor and token reset as it isn’t something we’ve done in the past. As such, we've decided to not reset Honor or tokens upon the release of Wrath of the Lich King. Players who save their Honor will be able to spend it on level 80 rewards, although those rewards will be significantly more expensive than their level 70 counterparts.

Now this raises an interesting question, and I'm not sure if any blues have actually confirmed this: Will arena points be resting? I don't think it would be at all fair for people to spend arena points earned at 70, with totally different class mechanics, for gear at 80. Spending points across seasons is one thing, but across expansions and level gaps? Come on.

I would hope that they would reset this and use the new system as reasoning enough, however in not resetting arena points yet, they have set a precedence, so I wouldn't be surprised if they let it carry over for that reason alone.

Resetting of the arena points may be pointless because of Wintersgrasp rewarding arena points anyway. Ratings is what is going to matter now and with all the gear having ratings, even with high points, you cant get all the rewards
