Default Illidari Council

We have a pretty good handle on this fight (as evidenced by a 50ish % minus the heals attempt), so I went to check out a few things we could do to increase survivability. There are really only two things that I found.

The first is that Gathios can have his judgement spell reflected. Ab may already be doing this, but a lot of the healers are complaining about longevity (not sure if this is because of the damage Ab is taking, or if they're not moving from blizzard fast enough). Obviously reflecting his judgement will lower burst on Ab, while doing damage to the council health pool. If he's already doing this, just ignore what I just wrote.

The second is one that I think will do a lot for us. Everything Malande casts can be interrupted, and obviously priority is given to heals because the last thing we want to do is let them get 8% back. However, Divine Wrath and Smite seem to be putting people into some potentially avoidable situations (getting hit for 5k, and then taking envemon/flamestrike/blizzard or the other way around). We haven't been interrupting these because obviously both a mage and rogue need to have kick/counterspell up for the spell ward/BoP heal casts. However, there is a nifty way around this. Whatever rogue we put on interrupts can do light DPS (making sure to always have a combo point up), wear PvP gloves for the deadly throw interrupt bonus (and lockout), and interrupt all casts when she doesn't have BoP. Deadly Throw has no CD (besides global), so the rogue can save his kick for heals, and use deadly throw to interrupt divine wrath and smites that aren't aimed at Ruwon. Rogue can also interrupt through her Reflective Shield using kick or deadly throw, just not BoP.

Couple macros I'd use for this, just to be sure you aren't raping yourself on reflective shield would be:

#showtooltip Kick
/cast Kick
/stopattack

#showtooltip Shiv
/cast Shiv
/stopattack

You'd only use kick to interrupt heals, but she might have reflective shield up during a heal, this kicks, then stops auto attacks so you don't gib yourself. Likewise you might need to build a combo point for a DT interrupt during reflective shield, and shiv is our least damaging point builder, so this will shiv and stop your auto attack.
